Lincoln's NewJazz5/Jazzpac bring The Art Themen Trio featuring John Etheridge guitar to The Blue Room at The Lawn, Lincoln on Saturday August 21st. Art's Organ Trio which has released the quirky titled CD, 'Thane And The Villeins'- features the soulful organ grooves of Pete Whittaker and drummer George Double and of course Art Themen the former Consultant surgeon and notable tenor saxophonist - a veritable Doctor Jazz. Alongside will be guitarist John Etheridge who enjoys a reputation throughout the jazz world and beyond and has been described by Pat Metheny as, 'One of the best guitarists.'
